Here at Angie's Keep Calm & Sing group; Promoting BETTER BREATHING, we see the combo' of intentional breathing and singing as an extremely useful tool to help improve wellbeing and can add benefits to recovery and healing.
We live in highly stressful times and it's clear we require coping strategies for our mental health. Intentional breathing calms the system while singing releases feelgood hormones oxytocin and endorphines. We are for those who are stressed out, anxious or for those who want to be the better version of themselves. We are here for you and all the family! From infancy to 18, from 18 to 80 we're here for your ongoing wellness.
Sometimes there are challenges in life to test us, a year of lockdown due to the pandemic certainly is one of them. It has caused a strain on our collective mental health in general, however help is still available and hope is still alive! At times like this it is useful to go back to basics, to centre oneself...to BREATHE and connect fully with self. This is the start to transforming your health for the better. Singing and in particular the preparation to sing can help correct how you breathe.
Our workshops guide you through powerful breathing exercises for both singing and relaxation in general.
